Wattage Turbo Hawk

It's called the Wattage Turbo Hawk and it is based on their successful Hawk powered glider. This plane is reasonably priced while at the same time has nice performance when built stock.

Wright Brothers R/C Electric Mite

The Wright Electric Mite is a 28 inch span interpretation of a 1958 single channel radio control model called the Guided Mite, originally designed by Bob Coon and intended for Cox PeeWee .020 power and pulse rudder only control. This variant was developed over the course of several iterations by Allan Wright in 2001, and was released as a laser-cut kit by Wright Brothers R/C in November of that year.

Carbon Falcon

When I first saw the Carbon Falcon announced here on the E-zone I thought it looked very interesting. After reading about it on the Ace Sim R/C website I considered it firmly entrenched on my want list. A couple of months after first learning about this plane I was lucky enough to see one that a clubmate of mine had purchased. He had not set it up yet, but it looked even better in person then it did on-line.

Vermont Belle 1300

Northeast Sailplane's (NSP) Vermont Belle 1300 is a rarity among planes, in that form and function interweave so intricately and wonderfully that this plane flies every bit as nice as it looks, and looks every bit as nice as it flies. A Controlling Interest - August 2003

Lithium batteries have unique charging needs, which I talked about in the last Recurring Charge (and will talk more about in the next Recurring Charge). They also have some different needs when it comes to speed controls specifically where they are used to power our radio systems from the ESC. Both the low voltage cutoff (LVC) function and the battery eliminator circuit (BEC) function are affected by the differences between nickel-based and lithium-based battery characteristics.
